  Took my car in for wheel bearing replacement. After giving the car a test they called me back with the diagnosis and quote. They said I did indeed need new bearings but also needed new brakes, calipers and rotors. Was quoted $1100. Which seemed like a good price. Picked up my car the next day and the wheel bearings were not done. I asked why and they said the price would be too high to do all the work at once... I had assumed the quote included the wheel bearings as they didn't say anything about not doing the wheel bearings too. I was requoted $1200 to do the wheel bearings. $400 for each bearing and $400 for Labour. I ended up buying the wheel bearings at West-can for $114 each and did the work myself. I understand Kal-tire needs to make money. But the mark up on the parts seems a bit high to me. If you are willing to get your hands dirty and have the tools, I highly suggest you do your research and take on the work yourself if you feel comfortable doing it. Kal-tire has good service for the most so if your looking for a quick tire job they're probably still your best bet. But from now on, I personally will do the work myself when and where I can.
